how to turn a woman off

a friend is dating this guy who within a week said "i love you"...within two weeks "you complete me"...within a month was talking about kids together...

um...and men thought women were bad...

then here comes the jealousy...after nearly three months..."i dont like that you have so many guy friends"..and.."i need you to prove you are loyal to me"...hmm...you dont say?....well guess what miss-has-never-cheated-and-been-nothing-but-loyal had to say...

so what do you think are ways to turn a woman (or a man) off?

I can't really top what he did; that's about as big a turn-off as anything I can think of. I hope she gave him the heave-ho.

My biggest turnoff is literal thinkers who don't seem to get a joke.

That is too needy and controlling to be believed.

But it happens all the time.
(running away, screaming)

Your friend is dating a control freak who is going to turn out to be a stalker at best and violent at worst....she should run now and dump truck him immediately.....

I can't believe she was still seeing the guy after two weeks, I mean really, "You complete me?"

@NWO - i totally get what you mean about people who are too literal...they are no fun and you end up wasting perfectly good funnies on them!..

@aneris - she flat out said that he was just too emotional for her...she couldnt handle it...

(come back, dont leave us!!)

@bdenied - it's funny you say that...because he called her in the wee hours of the AM...showed up around 1am (she had no idea that he even came by, he called and said he was there)...he wants her to give the "real" reason why she is breaking up with him...just a little unstable...

@percy - she should have run away after the first week...

@mnwhr - very true...and in all honesty, i think he meant it...in his own way...but she didnt put the brakes on it soon enough, imo...

On the other hand, darling told me right away that he loved me. I thought he just wanted to get into my pants and didn't believe him for 3 months. Turns out he didn't want to start a relationship at that point in his life but fell in love with me, his best friend, and therefore gave in and asked me out anyway. If I had run away I'd have missed out on nearly 7 wonderful years and many more to come. Not that all situations turn out this way, but you never know until you give it a while and see where it goes. This guy sounds psycho though. He's definitely not a darling.

Serious self-esteem issues here. Unless she enjoys attempting to fill this seemingly bottomless pit of pity, time to move on and confirm his self-image.
