I think anyone healthy enough for sexual activity and who has a partner should not be denied simply because of his or her age. I really believe that if you are in a nursing home you should not be healthy enough for sex. If you are healthy enough for sex, you should be healthy enough to take care of yourself. But I guess people are bad sons and daughters and just slap their parents down in a home before it's time. In that sort of situation, sex would make the elderly person feel less lonely. Though privacy is still a big issue to my limited imagination.
i have such a hard time trying to place limitations on other people...i agree that if you are mentally incapcitated then that means you are incapable of making that sort of decision...however, it still bothers me...such a controversial topic...

if they can do it and it doesn't kill them why not? Forcefuly imposing one's will on others never turns out good... just look at dictatorships.
