i was looking for a new lube to use (the one i was using was causing this burning for like a day or so ...tried it a few times, same feeling...but when i didnt use it and used my own "natural" lube, i was fine)...anyhow, i am leery of commercial lubes, so in my searches i came across boy butter...
...boy...butter...
now doesnt THAT sound someone's special gfwb..."yeah, that's tom in this picture...he's my boy butter...he ALWAYS gets me going!"
it looks interesting for sure, and i think i might try some out if only to say i have...i bet it'd make an awesome bride-to-be gift, lol...
honestly, i think i might try coconut oil/butter as well (that is how i found boy butter in the first place!)...anyone ever tried it?...

5 curious people say...:
try good old fashioned Johnson and Johnson babby oil...its slippery, its wet and its edible and it does not leave stains, cause allergies or cause burning......and it prevents razor bumps
saliva is my lube of choice.
omg. just reading this is making me cry for your vagina.
i work in an adult shop. i spend my days advising people on this sort of thing.
to be fair, i've only read this one post on your blog, so i don't know much about your specific needs.
however, i can tell you this:
boy butter is called BOY butter because it was designed for boys. not girls.
though, they do have the water-based formulas now that are vagina friendly. so if you are going to try it, please for the love of god make sure you get the water-based. the others will be sure to cause yeast infections, or god-knows what else!
ANYTHING oil based should be completely avoided. and butter?!?! omg. terrible terrible idea. i just hope you get this before you try any of the things i see mentioned here.
if you tell me what lube you were using that was causing irritation i can give more specific recommendations. but a good start would be system jo's agape, or if you want something a little different, try a silicone-based lube. system jo makes those too.
good luck!

honestly, i rarely use it...one of those things where i've never needed it but for some reason thought i "should" need/use it lol...

it was astroglide...email me any suggestions you have!...thank you so much for the awesome response btw!...oh, and i had no intention of trying the BB, it was just something i found amusing lol...

the system jo ones i suggested are probably your best bet. and you should be able to find small bottles, if not sample-sized pillow packs to test them out. i'd go the 'agape' route probably, as it's specifically made for sensitivities and astroglide doesn't typically cause reactions unless you do have an allergy. agape doesn't have a lot of the stuff in it that chicks are commonly allergic to.
hope this helps!
